WHAT IS INCLUDED IN A CUSTOM TRAINING PROGRAM?
Included in each program is customized training that is specifically tailored to you and your needs. Work-outs are entered into an app called Trainerize every 4 weeks but some slight modifications may occur during each 4-week phase. In the app you’ll be able to rank each workout on it’s difficulty to ensure your continued progress. Within the app are also demo videos of all exercises so there’s no confusion on what a movement is or how to perform it. Also included is instant messaging between us so I’ll always be available if you have questions, adjustments, or updates. Weekly check-ins are typical, so don’t be surprised if I message you to see how your week was! Also included (if you purchase the nutritional package) is a folder with a macro list, balanced food schedule, eating out tips, suggested supplements, a grocery list of foods to choose from and more.
Do you offer Meal Plans?
As described, I offer nutritional guidance, tips, recommendations, and accountability. I do NOT write meal plans..yet.
HOW DOES THE PROCESS WORK TO SIGN UP?
To sign up please Click Here and there will be a questionnaire asking your height, weight, physical limitations, health history, workout equipment availability, and more. After completing the form, you’ll receive an email with a link that redirects you to a smartphone app called Trainerize, where the workouts will be uploaded. From there, you’ll receive your first month of workouts at the beginning of the following week and will be starting a new chapter of your fitness journey! During your checkout process there will be a pop up box restating the terms and conditions of which you will need to read thoroughly before clicking the box. After I receive your online application I will email you to set up a call and send you a contract which you will have to sign before I send your workouts.
WHAT IF I CAN ONLY WORKOUT AT HOME/HAVE LIMITED MEAL OPTIONS/HAVE AN INJURY OR DISABILITY/OTHER LIMITING FACTOR?
A good personal trainer will be able to design a program around your needs that includes whatever limitations or boundaries that you may have. Regardless of your situation, I can easily create a challenging yet achievable program to help you reach your goals. If you have some type of limitation and you purchase a program, please include it in the text box along with your personal information that way I know what adjustments need to be made for you. Everyone’s situation is different and everyone deserves to have fitness accessible to them.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE ME TO LOOK LIKE YOU/MY BODY GOALS?
While this question is flattering it’s an impossible one. I’ve been working out for almost a decade, while training five-six days a week as well as being an athlete throughout different sports my whole life to look the way I do. Even if you pack on a lot of muscle, everyone’s genetic make-up is different and your body won’t look exactly like anyone else’s. There is no magic pill or overnight solution that will get you fit. It takes years of dedication. It’s a marathon, not a sprint. Also, while looking good is a great bonus, this should not be your main reason to begin training. This is not a sustainable/long-term motivation for a lot of people. Love your body the way it is NOW and you’ll want to take care of it by being healthy and getting active. It’s a lifestyle, not something you start just to stop when you reach your goal.
You used to send workouts that you did that day. Do you still send them out?
With me offering online training now, I do not send my workouts out for free.
In person faqs
I am unable to pay the full amount upfront. Can I pay you each session?
I pull favors from time to time but if you can’t pay the full amount, you can pay half upfront but once you’ve completed half your sessions you will need to pay the rest.
What happens during the consultation?
During your consultation you will take a few minutes to fill out a client intake form. We will then discuss that and talk more in depth about your goals, limitations, etc. After that, I’ll put you through a brief screening assessment and workout to assess your capabilities. Once the assessment is over, we’ll summarize the consultation and decide on training volume and what your plan consists of moving forward.
What happens if i have to miss a scheduled session?
That is totally fine if you communicated that to me up until 2 hours before the session. If you fail to let me know or try to message me RIGHT before your session, you will lose that session and won’t be refunded. If you did communicate in an appropriate timeframe, we can just reschedule.
It’s been a month and i haven’t seen results, Can i end my training?
Pursuing a healthy lifestyle is not a sprint, it’s a marathon. You have to buy in to the process and understand that it takes way longer than a month to see any real substantial changes to your body. Also… you signed a contract and you have to commit to a minimum of 3 months.
